Yelp Adds Tinuiti, Assembly, Performics To Roster For Its Agency Development Program

Yelp has added three partners — Tinuiti, Assembly, and Performics — to its Agency Development Program.

The program provides an education series, unique insights, innovative advertising opportunities and pilot programs for media agencies interested in investing in ads for enterprise clients.

Shannon Pruitt, global chief content and partnership innovation officer at Assembly, commends Yelp’s focus on raising diverse voices through products and features like its Black-owned and LatinX-owned businesses. “We’re excited to deepen our partnership with Yelp through its new program, as well as our own Partners for Progress initiative,” she said.

Yelp shares insights with agency partners on all types of searches across the platform. For example, the platform shares the purchase behavior and preference of flavors at coffee chains. Yelp marketers believes the data also can help companies learn what homebuyers want in a specific area, such as schools, tailors, and restaurants.

The Agency Development Program, launched in early 2022, provides an opportunity for large independent agencies and those owned by holding companies to partner with Yelp on incentive-based ad programs for clients. The program now includes over thirty of the leading media agencies.

Tinuiti partners with Yelp via an agency incentive program that encourages new clients to test Yelp’s effectiveness. In leveraging this program, the agency explores multiple advertising opportunities for clients across the home and local services, retail and finance categories.

Stagwell’s agency Assembly joined Yelp’s program earlier this year to help its clients reach Yelp’s high-intent audiences.

Yelp is an official partner of Assembly’s Partners for Progress initiative, a new program that aims to drive sustained transformation across the creative and media supply chain.

Performics partners with Yelp to support clients looking to drive foot traffic to their brick-and-mortar businesses or engage with consumers to make purchases online.

The goal is to help Performics take advantage of Yelp’s audience and new products and opportunities to deliver strong results for clients.
