What Daily Practices Can YOU Adopt From The World’s Best Bloggers? [Infographic]

Comparison can be dangerous.

When you compare your writing, your approach, or your strategy to that of others, you can either let it be disheartening or motivating.

At Cursive Content Marketing, we prefer the latter. We make a conscious effort to use comparison to light a fire under us — and to keep negative comparison at bay. How? By seeing greatness in others as a opportunity to learn and improve.

What Daily Practices Can YOU Adopt From the World

That’s why I like the below infographic from Orbit Media Studios, which I first saw on Copyblogger. While it does ask you to compare yourself to “serious business bloggers” (which is a sentiment I’m not very fond of), it includes some interesting practices that can help you shift or adjust your current methods in a positive way.

For example, the following statistic:

Blog posts of 1,500+ words have increased by 72%.

That’s pretty awesome because it means business bloggers are beginning to focus more on in-depth storytelling — which is a great opportunity to create a deeper connection with readers. This reminded me to adjust my strategy a bit to make room for more expansive storytelling opportunities.

Take a look at the infographic for yourself. Where can you pull out motivation? What included here inspires you to take a new or varied approach to your current blogging?
