One of the Biggest Things to Overcome So You Can Be Truly Successful in Business

This one has been a major one for me. For many years, because I was so worried about what others would do or say, I didn’t do what I could have.

There were business ideas I never ran with because I was afraid that others would dislike them.

There was even a business I launched, and then shut down when a family member said “You can’t do that… You’ll embarrass the family”

I know right?

See, here’s the thing. Because I didn’t believe in myself. Because I didn’t know my own self-worth. Because I didn’t have any self-confidence or certainty. Because I was so worried that I’d put people off, or put them off-side. I actually allowed them, in a sense, to control me.

Of course, this was all done unconsciously. In my mind, I had to be the people pleaser and do what everyone else wanted because that was the only way they’d like and accept me. Right?

So even though the entrepreneurial spirit was alive and well inside of me, my own insecurities, fears, thoughts and behaviors about what other people would think if I did this or that, controlled my life.

It controls yours still too, doesn’t it? Well, that’s OK. What matters is that you recognize it, and start doing something about it.

So many people, each and every day are completely controlled by their beliefs and their fears. The fear of what other people think is really only one of them. Some others could be, not feeling like they are good enough or worthy enough of success. Or afraid of putting themselves out there, because they might fail.

Many times, even if people have taken the plunge and gone into their own businesses, they can also allow fear to control them. This can stop them from taking the inspired action they need to take, in order to succeed. And they fail.

So ironically, because of their own inaction, they can often end up with the outcome they were afraid of getting in the first place. What you focus on, and all that, right?

So, what about you? Where do you sit with all this? If you are reading this article, then chances are, you are in business for yourself, or you really want to be.

So, what is it that’s holding you back and stopping you from the success you could have? Ask yourself that question. What am I afraid of, what thoughts are stopping me from reaching that next goal, that next level, and that next pay scale?

Ask questions, because your unconscious mind MUST answer them.

If you haven’t made the leap yet, and you really want to, ask yourself “What is stopping me?” “What is causing this delay?”

So many people NEVER do the things they truly want to do with their lives due to fear. So many end up stuck in a job, working 40 hours a week, for the guy who took the leap! They end up working for the person who is now living the life they dreamed of.

The only difference between you and that person is that they took ACTION, did the inner work on themselves, built what they needed to, and made their move.

Do you think they were scared? I can guarantee you, at times, they were terrified. Yet, they still did it.

So, wherever you are right now, stop, and ask yourself what it is, that’s truly holding you back.

Is it the fear of what others think? Fear of failure? Fear of Success? Ask yourself, what could you do to alleviate this from your mind?

I strongly advise working with an NLP Practitioner. This was the solution that changed my life, and turned me into the complete powerhouse I am today. Today I am a successful business owner, a lead generator for large companies, a published author, and I’ve created and owned 12 successful businesses. I have my full confidence and certainty, and I allow nothing to stand in my way.
You can do this too. So, if you have asked the questions and your unconscious has given you the answers, then you know what to do, don’t you? Life is way too short not to get every drop of juice out of it, and when is now the right time to take action?
