Live streaming video has come a long way over the last couple of years. Many brands and businesses are turning to Facebook to reach their prospects in a whole new way with broadcasts. Would you like to take advantage of this new technology, but don’t know where to start? Check out these great ideas, and let me know how these work for you!

1) Provide a glimpse of your company

Take your followers behind the scenes with a personalized look at what you provide and a personalized view of your products or services. People want to know everything they can about you in order to make a purchasing decision. Live video allows them to see how you best meet their needs as you provide valuable insights, answer questions and gain immediate feedback. Here’s a screenshot of a recent event from Edgardo Moreno, CEO & President at EMI Group, and the Edgardo Moreno International Group:

2) Give your audience their own question and answer time

Before a prospect makes purchase they want to know that they are gaining the best product or service available. A good way to provide this information is through a live question and answer session, which can be 30 minutes or even an hour. This places your audience in the driver’s seat to ask questions they may not otherwise be able to do on your blog or other social media platforms. Keep the flow moving quickly with the help of a team member who can also moderate the event. Here’s a great example from Experticity, the maker of a powerful influencer app:

3) Educate your audience

A great way to reach more people and attract new followers is to teach them something they have wanted to know about. This could be a product demonstration, cooking tips, step-by-step instructions, ect. according to your niche. Keep your presentation simple, informative and entertaining for the best response like this live event from the cooking channel, Tastemade:

4) Interview an industry expert

A good way to build credibility for your brand is to interview leaders in your industry for your audience. This could be in the form of a live event or a simple online meeting where your viewers get valuable information from people they look up to and trust. This also provides more insight into what your business can offer your potential customers. Brian Fanzo, founder of iSocialFanz, conducts regular interviews with experts:
