Whether you realize it or not, you make decisions every single day that affect your life. Even deciding NOT to do something is a decision that impacts your life and career. In Network Marketing, or any other career or business decision, it is up to you to decide to be successful. This doesn’t mean that wishing and hoping for success will work. What it means is that to be successful at something, like Network Marketing, you need to decide to be successful at it. This will allow you to focus your energy and your success will come from your commitment to succeeding.
Your mind can be a very powerful force. It just needs to be directed properly and effectively. My new network marketing recruits will often tell me “I’ll do whatever it takes to succeed – no matter what.” Unfortunately, all too often they do mean what they are saying but have not yet made the mental commitment to themselves to actually “do whatever it takes”. Many people do not realize the difference between wanting to achieve something and really making that mental commitment to “do whatever it takes”. Successful small business owners and entrepreneurs understand this. Anyone who has built a company from the ground up to become a huge corporation understands this .Anyone who has become successful in network marketing also understands this.
It should come as no surprise to you to know that the failure rate among new network marketing businesses is about the same as any other business. That is that most fail. The ones that succeed often do so because of the owner’s drive, knowledge and dedication. Also, most entrepreneurs fail multiple times before they succeed. People often say they needed to gain enough experience when in reality they needed to gain knowledge. They are not quite the same thing and it’s important to note that you don’t have to fail to gain the required knowledge. Failure is a great teacher though. It really forces you to analyze and evaluate yourself and your business ambitions.
A good network marketing training program can be just as effective as experience when it comes to building a successful business. If you can find a network marketing training program that will teach you how to do the things you need to do, you are most of the way towards achieving your goal. Then you just need to decide that you want to succeed. The network marketing training will only give you the tools you need. You must still make that mental commitment to yourself to do the work required for success. The funny thing about motivational posters and speeches is that if you allow yourself to believe in them, they work. You only need to allow yourself to believe.
So my advice to everyone is basically the same. Decide you want to be successful. Decide to find a good network marketing training course to learn the required skills. Decide to fully commit yourself and your resources to this task. Decide to take a risk. Decide that the effort and work today will translate into a lifetime of happiness and riches.
