Scratchcards from National Lottery operator Allwyn will be available to order as part of Gopuff instant grocery deliveries.

A new partnership between Allwyn and Gopuff means that customers can add scratchcards to their orders, delivered to your order in as little as 15 minutes. The launch kicks off with 16 cities in England and Wales.

Gopuff offers instant delivery of thousands of everyday essentials, such as groceries, cleaning products, toiletries, beverages, and now scratchcards.

“We’re always looking at ways to respond to the ever-evolving retail environment and the changing ways people are buying grocery products – with ease and convenience being key factors. And through this new partnership with Gopuff, we’re doing just that,” said Allwyn’s Retail Revenue & Customer Director, Alison Acquaye-Acford.

“We’re making it even easier for existing National Lottery players to get the games they want to play quickly and safely,” she continued. “But we’re also looking to make the most of Gopuff’s presence in cities, reaching new customers who are already shopping through the platform. All of this is helping us continue to build on the £32m raised, on average, every week for Good Causes – which is what The National Lottery is all about.”

Safety restrictions remain in place for scratchcard purchases

ID checks will be in place for all scratchcard purchases, just as buying other age-restricted products via Gopuff already are. Allwyn’s 10-scratchcard per transaction limit is also still in place for these online orders, first introduced back in 2024.

“At Gopuff, we’re constantly focused on improving the customer experience and bringing our consumers more of what they love in minutes,” said Alberto Menolascina, SVP of UK and New Business at Gopuff. “This new partnership with Allwyn enables us to do just that.

“Since launching the pilot program last month, our customers have shown an immediate interest in this new offering. This is instant commerce in action, giving customers what they want, when they want it, safely and conveniently.”

Allwyn, best known for its operation of the traditional UK National Lottery, has been pushing into more online-focused services of late, with its recent acquisition of fantasy sports operator PrizePicks.
